I have confirmation that Windstream will be hit, heavily, at the beginning to mid February. Prepare your resumes and be on the hunt.
Saw this in another thread, anybody knows more about this? We know something has been brewing for a while now, so a major round of layoffs soon would not surprise me.

We all know that some big wigs know about this site, but they won’t ever know who is posting, unless you put your name down.
I will not remain silent ... I want Windstream to realize the importance of their employees...many have dedicated not only their lives and long hours to make this company great and then we watch our current upper management treat their employees as if they are just a number, that they are disposable...we, yes the worker bees actually care about our customers, our co-workers ... we were not showing up to just collect a pay check we wanted to make this company great and part of our families...however with this current regime they just don’t get it...to make a successful company one must respect and appreciate the work set forth to make a great company...I only hope and pray that someone in this company realizes the true meaning of having outstanding employees and treat them with dignity, the return that Windstream will receive will be unbelievable!

There’s definitely something brewing, lots of closed meetings taking place. Guess we will find out soon enough. Wish I could get a package and severance pay. Too bad they don’t ask for volunteers.

I would imagine that groups and BUs that have already have been hit can breathe a bit easier because those have already been cut so far its into the bone.
