Why the "random" drug tests starting this year? It's just going to alienate all the employees who don't drink on the job or take illegal drugs, and chances are slim to none that problem employees will be selected at random. Why can't they just deal with the real rproblems without involving everybody else?

Maybe it’s a new benefit, if you test positive, they can help you and keep it private, or sell you weed at a discount . But I’m leaning towards another bull$hit policy form hr, to keep us white minority’s down.

Question. What type of initial drug screening does Noble Energy do? Why type of “random” drug testing is performed on employees?

Do you really think Noble management really cares about "alienating" its employees? They could could care less about you. Get real. This is just another avenue for them to get rid of people without laying them off. No bad publicity... no severance package.
