By keeping entry level salaries low Indian IT companies are showing underpaid senior employees as overpaid and firing them and replacing them with freshers. The firings have been stalled lately as professional bodies exposed the profiteering practice with evidence.

Keep entry level salaries low and exploit unemployment problem in India. Compare entry level pay with that of the seniors (who have much less than industry standard pay ) and show them as over payed and manipulate media to glorify IT pay packets (using falsified information). less than 5% of staff get the kind of high pay that is advertised.

Looks the old indian business families who have entered It sector want to take salaries down to 70s levels wherein people had hand to mouth existence and business families used to claim so many people are living due to us. (read just living - no progress and no prosperity)
