Promotions for managers and Demotions for technical staff in India

Hundreds of employees, Delivery leads, Capability leads, Account Technical Leads, will start reporting to Delivery managers instead of Operations Managers.

There was a time when delivery leads used to assign work to India Local Delivery Mangers. Now Delivery leads are reporting to Delivery managers. What a turnaround and mismanagement!

The so called delivery managers were unfit technical staff so they were made supervisors and managers. In October 2017 all Delivery managers were promoted to Sr. Delivery managers and supervisors were promoted to Delivery Managers.

what work do these delivery managers do ? smoke cigarettes, sit for FPR year end discussions, approve leave, browse amazon and facebook

Which center do you suggest where the staff can think ? India is a low cost location nothing more than that. as a transition manager we have SAP services to be supported and configuration and enhancement. Approx 50 FTE project at various levels on the tech side.

For all I care fire most the staff in India, most can't think anyway. Or in the middle of a problem get up and say my cab is here I have to go or it's dinner time.

WTF work though dinner , miss your dam cab

Delivery managers and On boarding managers that I know work there butt off! The accounts or operation managers as you say do nothing but say it can't be done

If you are an Operations Manager then you are likely to get the chop soon. A good (short) future to look forward to.
