EEOC questions

What is the point of filling a complaint with the EEOC? I’m not after money. I would let it go, but I’m afraid I’ll regret not doing anything and the statute of limitations will pass.

Have you ever filed one? If so, any tips when you don’t have hard evidence? I have documentation, but not solid proof. If they could access my manager’s emails, they may find better proof. What should I take to my first meeting?

Things were so bad that I ended up finding a new job.

Thanks

File a complaint with the EEOC. They will investigate and you dont have to get a lawyer. You should do it for yourself and everyone who didnt get the opportunity. A group of us regret that we didnt file a complaint with the EEOC. We followed the bogus process and got hosed again. EMC has an entire legal team who do nothimg but investigate claims of wrongdoing by managers and tbeir investigations go like this: (1) pretend they are conducting a fair and legitimate investigation; (2) collude and coverup the wrongdoing using the information gained from the fair and legitinate investigation; (3) layoff anyone involved in the investigation who didnt lie for the manager; (3) create new positions (ie, change title of positions being laidoff) and promote those wbo lied for the manager named in claim and promote the manager named in claim. P. Hill has a lot of experience conducting fake investigations but she was sloppy and her lies were glaring but didnt matter because they will destroy you and ruin your reputation and any chance for a future and they eill drag out the investigation to burn up the time clock. HR is involved as well as other pos managers. They all belong in jail. All of them. File a complaint with the EEOC and then you can move on, the EEOC will do the work. Dont let them get away with whatever they have done. They have ruined the lives of too many and will continue if not stopped. They are vile and repulsive.

I don't care of Dell fails. the management disgust me. they work slow like snails with nothing in between their ears except how to kiss harder upwards. It is appaling how HR is so supportive of nepotism.

Ethics case is dangerous in Dell. Be careful, I tell this from my experience in Dell Storage Bangalore team. A whole team was threatened by the group head, director and a lady manager. The team complained and the HR team registered the HR case with all evidence. They let these three people go after warning them. Once the HR went out of the equation, these three went about harassing the team and eventually made most of them leave Dell. They couldn't stand the torture. And HR didn't do anything. Only saving grace is the new management fired the group head for some other reason.

The only ones who benefit from these things are the lawyers. By the time you get dragged through the mud and your character assassinated by the people you are trying to take to task, you'll wish you'd never bothered.

Better to just accept that this stuff happens all the time -- and use your experience to not get trapped in it again.

Forewarned is forearmed, so protect yourself at all times.

What's the charge? If a lawsuit was filed, they could subpoena, email, working papers, etc., that may bolster a case but again, what's the case?
