One of my top Rx Sup's was let go and was not offered a position as a Pharmacist within the company but just a severance package

This is true. Just had a conference call outlining the new structure. Only one position available in a new smaller district of approximately 14 stores. No more Pharmacy sup and district managers. Technician budget will be lightly trimmed and lp role will be redefined. Cvs come on now...
These are our colleagues and friends. Stop acting like this isn't happening. It's going on across the company as CVS positions itself to purchase Aetna. Sounds like a higher up just trying to do some damage control.
And non-disclosure agreements stop people from anonymous news and leaks on any other outlet accept thelayoff.com?
They had to sign "non-disclosures" to keep their severance package should they be the ones let go. I have already received several calls across 6 states that RX Sups have been let go over they last three days and others moved into a "District Supervisor" job.
If it was happening, it would be leaked on other websites "dips***", especially if its been in the works over the past 4 weeks. You think the disgruntled just keep their mouths shut?
Why in the heck would this be on here dip---- it's true , you will see soon enough and realize what a dumb statement you just made!!!!!
If this is really happening, why are more people not talking about it. And why are all the rumors confined to just this website. It makes no sense. What region of the company is this happening in?
Had that too. Seems like the senior ones (high performers) are out. No way it was performance driven. The ones kept have consecutively horrible numbers, zero executive presence or a bunch of ethics complaints. Don't think they'll be able to handle the new position as they weren't successful doing the original. There have been many years of layoffs but his was very poorly handled. I feel sick for those impacted who didn't deserve it.
