If you cannot make your employees loyal, you should never lead - NEVER. You failed and you need to leave. If our execs cannot see what's happening they are blind - they do not deserve to be called leadership and this will not end good once all dominoes fall into place - it's just not right

I am now a contractor for a DXC competitor and my loyalty is limited to the 40 hours per week that I am required to work. Nothing more and nothing less.
For my colleagues that remained at DXC - there is hope at the end of the tunnel.
good. let them kick out loyal people out. lets see how fast it sinks.
Former loyal employees (like me) with 20+ years of experience at EDS/HP/HPE/DXC got the tap on the shoulder in Australia and never regret leaving the sinking ship. I was replaced by 3 people! I'm very happy to have left and my former colleagues say that they now face process upon process just to do their daily jobs. I was only loyal to DXC for 3 months until my number was called up.
If you are loyal to any company, especially DXC, you are very foolish.
80,000 in 3 years means approx 2,500 every month for 3 years. Good luck everyone. Only managers are keeping themselves safe here, there are no technical / consulting staff left as they are moving on to new companies.
Loyalty at DXC is an oxymoron. It's just a paycheck to the vast majority of employees - no more, no less. DXC is not a destination if you're looking for excitement and passion in your workplace.
@iwrt Where does the number of 80,000 people to go come from?
He's got 80,000 people to bin in three years.
Far cheaper for shareholders if those people just quit than to offer them severance.
Everything is going to plan.

If you're especially good, he may send you a Christmas message:
"Bet ya thought you were all going to grow old together, sitting around the table at Sunday dinner in the happily ever after. No... doesn't work like that. Not anymore. This is your way of life now. The more you fight back, the harder it will be. So, if someone... knocks on your door... you let us in. We own that door. You try to stop us and we will knock it down. You understand? Have a good Christmas."
