Trying to win modem vs. Q when the mobile battle was fought more than 5 years ago. Will try to come up with a discrete GPU in maybe 3 years time to compete against Nvidia. Laughable! Always late to the party and underdelivering.

Rising tide lifts all boats, even the sinking Titanics like Intel. Wait for a major market correction, and then we will see what Intel is really worth.
It is IT industry. Half of players has record quarter every quarter, it is because market is still expanding.
Problem of Intel is that compared to Samsung Intel is kind of shady.
Intel just had a record quarter resulting in high bonuses. Ya, they could make even more money.
Actually, lot of money was burned on wrong acquisitions, so it is not such a good. Plus return of AMD forcing to do almost 50% price drops on some (most profitable) SKUs...
Intel makes lot more money than its competitors and that's what matters.
@Qt43JIJ-1wqn This is not exactly correct. Datacenters are not same thing as for example big iron servers.
Datacenters expanded approximately when Intel released first Xeon processors. It was services like Youtube and many more video/files sharing providers. And in this $14B market Intel still has dominant position.
But big iron servers is completly different story. It started long ago and there are still same players (IBM, Oracle...). And in this $10B - $15B market Intel has still close to 0% share.
Yeah and Intel went into server processors late.
So?
Seems to be working out quite well for Intel.
Why don‘t the people here who are smarter than Intel‘s management start their own companies?
And they still believe it's 2000 with people waiting in line to buy PCs. LOL LOL LOL!
