Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Why hire people just to get rid of them again quickly?

I have joined in the month of Jan 2017 and fired in november. If the company is not in a position to assure the job even for 1 year, what is the pointing in doing permanent recruitment. What a joke this company is !!!

Nearly in same position here, can't emphasize enough how angry I am. Why would you hire people just to let them go less than a year later? And I mean regular hiring, not contract work. I lost a decent opportunity at another company because this seemed like a better option. What an idiot I was...

I know someone who was hired and then put into a WFR pool 3 WEEKS later. He was let go as well in that pool. Was quite shocking but par for the course in the omni-shambles that is DXC.

I'm sorry but the Outsourcers are all the same. Anyone that joins them voluntarily really should be aware of what they are getting into.

WFR has been going on for all of the last 30 odd quarters but one in what was HPE ES. If you hadn't spotted that in the computer press then you really have not been paying attention.
