Thread regarding Nokia Corp. layoffs

Higher-ups need to figure out proper project execution

Please, please, please, figure out how to properly run a project to its completion!

We start creating something amazing, build a whole team around it by bringing in excellent new people, and then mid project somebody figures out we either want to change something or go smaller scale or whatnot, and we start laying off people and breaking up teams and just completely ruining the original idea.

I've seen this happen so many times it's ridiculous! Some f our most promising projects have been shut down due to this!

Please, if you decide to do something, stick to it. It'll pay off if you give it a chance.

If Nokia management doesn't shape up and work with the customer instead of "demanding" the customer use it's equipment, it will loss market share.

I have a lot more to say but who cares. I'm going to get laid off soon anyway (in USA) since Nokia want to hire the inexperienced college graduates in China/India to do the 5G development.

I saw a posting for a Samsung 5G wireless development work in USA -- let me spend my time wisely by applying for that job posting instead of wasting my time with Nokia.
