Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Non-tech jobs without at least 6 hours of work in office should be let go.. WFR

There are several employees including delivery managers who are doing non-tech jobs, aka administrative work. They do not service DXC customers but rather do internal work e.g. FPR, approving leave, collecting money for eat-out, etc and are actually huge overhead for the company.

so basically they are doing non-tech jobs and if they are not in office for at least 6 hours of work then it is a strong case that they should be let go

Nobody can do an admin job for the office from the comfort of their home.

My favorite thing after leaving DXC is coming on here and watching the remaining drones turn on each other.

There is virtually no reason to stay with this financial instrument masquerading as an actual company.

Mike Nefkins once mentioned in his coffee take that Middle Level management would be targeted for layoff. Since then he seems to have taken a U turn on his stance. Looks like the managers threatened him with a strike.

Why would anyone, even those with the lowest qualifications and intelligence, still work for this cowboy outfit? Are you incapable of finding another job?

There are delivery managers who have served the company for many years are deliberately doing all these right now so that they can be WFR. If i am in their shoes, I would do that. Good money man. why not?

In these times of cost cutting, I agree there is no point keeping dumb donkeys who are not fit for the office, to handle evaluating performance of highly certified techies.

So much so that they leave for home early out of sheer shame or pretend to be busy.

It is becoming all too easy to look at others and feel they are doing little, therefore they should be on the 'hit list' rather than themselves. DXC has successfully created this kind of culture now. To work here is beginning to sadly resemble a never-ending season of 'Survivor'........

There are still a lot of do-nothings hanging around for sure. Good, hard working colleagues have been let go in order to keep people around just because they are someone's buddy. Disgusting and sad indeed.

@6rhi I bet you are a bundle of joy to work with - glad you don’t work in my office, or maybe you do, plenty of knife throwing here, dear oh dear oh dear. You sound like the type of quality person this company needs, that’s irony by the way!

HPE legacy has too much supervisory “fat” on the bones. Even if the job was an evening shift, the manager visits the office for 2 hours in the morning, while the down-the line came to office in the evening.

All in all they are just on payroll, nothing else.
