If you see the "ence618" service running, that is a forensic gathering program produced by Guidance Software. look it up. Be careful what you do on corporate PCs.

Yeah, I son was hired-in in Tuscon Oro Valley Honeywell . What a dump! His leader , some woman up to Toronto Canada was micro-managing the group he was in. After 2 weeks he was called in a conference room and her complaint was "hey, I saw you on the UofA web site. " He corrected her by saying it was ASU web site and that he was there to get to his G-mail because Honeywell HR sent him PDF documents ! She refused to acknowledge her flaw, instead said oh, you should still not do that. I

IT came after me for something in a personal email years ago, so the answer to "do they monitor you?" is yes. I also know of someone they fired for viewing p--n on his work computer during work hours, so they were clearly monitoring him. He should have been fired for that.

Your paranoia is understandable. Sometimes people (in this case Moneyhell management) really are out to get you.

Normal at even small businesses. Don’t let little things like that bother you.

Actually, they've done this for years. Here in Clearwater, the IT people assigned to this worked out of plant 2 at one time. Why do you think they also have you badge in/out? They match your in plant status against computer activity. People have been fired for being out of plant, yet having someone inputting hours and

logging out for the day after they were gone. I imagine secretly scanning your badge in/out for bathroom breaks is next.

Maybe IT can monitor my team but I don't have the time or desire to do it. Besides, I trust them and don't need to be "big brother."

As a ex-30+ year employee, I think Honeywell would slaughter you in your cubical and harvest your organs to make the CEOs bonus if it was legal.

Doubt they have the time to do that and who the hell cares. As long as you do your work.

It’s Honeywell’s computer and you work for them. They have every right to monitor it! Unless you- @op- have something to hide??

Who cares if you are a decent, honest hard worker?

Yes and also do not forget the tiny little implant they put inside of you and the little fairy who follows you everywhere.
