Why in the world is change such a foreign word at Cigna???
The leadership is so insecure and stuck in the old ways that if you even dare to suggest something change or bring up a new idea, you might've as well put a target on your back yourself. The same thing will happen if you dare and criticize some aspect of work (despite the fact it truly deserves criticizing.)
As a result, we have the same problems that we had years ago and that we'll have for years to come.
The sad thing is they are all fixable!!! But I guess if somebody was to attempt to fix them that would draw attention to them, and then somebody else might ask why it wasn't done sooner... So frustrating.
