Please stop posting false rumors on this site and post real information about layoffs. If you are mad at Dell/EMC that is fine but we are real people who need jobs to survive. If the roles were reverse you would feel the same way. I want to find out what is going on along with lots of other people.

For real people who are still working in Dell/EMC, you can always stop reading this site and believe everything they tell you.

Do these steps on any windows file (computer must be on Dell EMC domain).

Right-click the file (eg: word doc etc), click Properties, and then click the Security tab.

Click Edit to open the Permissions for dialog box.

Click Add and type in zzz09.

Click "Check Names" button to get the list.
NOTE: you can filter by day and search zzz0922 etc
Go to outlook, create new message, in global address book type "zzz" you will see the most recent list. In the format zzz11162017johnson, John
ZzzMonthDayYearSurname, Christian name.
How can you tell this zzzz list
Just look at the ZZZ list - there is your truth to layoffs - many are still getting laid off
I know there are layoffs coming for sure in ireland.dont know about the rest..personally if i was looking for real time info i would have a chat with my manager and not come on sites like this..the fact you can post anything you want on this site says it all.but i can say at least 70 percent of what i have seen on here was true.you might get laid off this year but who knows.in 6 months they could hire again..dont stress.as they say ..pressure is for tyres and blow up dolls
tips for you, always keep the headcounts for your org in check. even if it means manual data entry. numbers don't lie, even if a person is deleted forever, you know he was there. If there are claims of layoff, look at your numbers, and you will know they are lies or not.
OP you are just feeding the trolls, they more upset we get, the more junk they post.
I've been on this site since 2014 so hear me out - you need to be patient, if all what you see is junk, then nothing is happening or we do not know anything.
At some point, when real layoffs come, you will see a number of posts that will all sound different but the message will be similar - that's when you need to tune in. All other is just noise and you need to learn ti ignore it.
