Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC has fake project managers, fake account delivery managers and fake security officers

The project managers in DXC are generally coordinators who take a half baked paragraph of words from the customer agree to it and dump it on the technical teams

Account delivery managers have no clue of what their job is. The are just there to have a weekly call and ask is there anything to discuss in this call ?

Security officers are generally the ladies holding a degree in music. Several large accounts managed by DXC worldwide were hit by Petya, Wannacry etc. no blame on them and no accountability. they are just there on the payroll and keep saying , just keep me in cc for all security related emails.

there is a list being compiled for wfr, not sure if these fakes are on it ...

too many fakes in dxc holding top positions. no wonder everything goes haywire when few key persons are unavailable.

the project managers know nothing about technology and are more concerned about billing :-)

AKE are you tRUMP or something. no one is fake. Everyone does what their managers let them get away with, What there managers force them to do.

If We think its wrong we state our opinions and if we are shot down we can escalate but that's about it. Blame company Policy Blame the VP's that set the direction!!

If you dont do what your managers tell you to do you get b*tch slapped and added to the WRF's list faster than you would normally.

Are you pushing over and over to your managers and their managers that the process is wrong, if not your as bad as the rest of them. So shut up! If you're doing it like I am good for you, but we won't be around much longer.

As soon as I can document what I do and why in very simple steps it will be sent to workers that cant debug there way out of a wet paper bag and can only follow step by step procedures. When something goes wrong and it does a lot, they wont have a clue on what to do.

Many of these fakes are part of the large client accounts supported by DXC in the UK and USA. Just sitting put.. no work .. nothing.

It’s a common theme at DXC- don’t work hard to make the incompetent ones look bad. If you are a PM with technical background, they will dump work on you like there is no tomorrow.

Accountability? If the top leadership (so called) takes no accountability, what do you expect across this organization? Many WFR’s contributed to the over inflated stock price. Can’t you just see Mikey’s excitement? How much stock options he can exercise before the golden parachutes

All the lazy sales folk that work for HPI and only want to sell stuff to DXC should be shown the door too. The MicroFocus mob are only interested in making short term commissions for themselves and need to get out there and sell their product. There is no longer a guarantee that DXC can pay suppliers in a timely manner either.

Are we now up to sales terms of 100+ days before suppliers are paid? This will make some suppliers think twice before providing goods and services to DXC.

All sounds a bit complex. That would be some sort of actual improvement programme for the company. Its not like that, its about cost reduction at any cost.

The process works like this, take the list of Western employees, remove Layers 1-4, sort the rest by salary and start removing them.

I'm sure some of the lazy/fake people will get caught up in that, but I'm also sure that some of you will too.

Remember to refuse the pay raise, because it makes you more likely to get RIF'ed ;-)

Important points from this threads discussion:

  1. Review the work and performance of legacy EDS staff, initiate warnings/WFR's if case performance is not satisfactory.

  2. Review the metrics of Project managers (PMs), Account delivery managers (ADMs) and Account Security officers (ASOs) - initiate warnings / WFR's

  3. Review the work timings / output of Delivery Managers (just onboarding and offboarding employees in HR tool ?) - initiate bulk WFR's

Security officers - people that have no idea of any security. Not obligatory to be female - came across few males - similar situation. The best capability they have is to hit the forward button on mail and put tight deadlines on the person to do the job for them.

The project managers and senior delivery managers have always been useless and in the 7 years I worked for HPE I never came across a good one.

Problem is the company is made up of EDS and Vistorm staff both, of which could manage the delivery of an envelope.
