Thread regarding JCPenney layoffs

Chronically short staffed

Dear JCPenny management, since you obviously have no idea what you're doing, here's a little lesson from the front lines.

To earn money we have to sell our products. To sell our products we need customers. To have customers, we need to make sure they return because they are happy with both our product selection and service.

If the customers have to wait to be served for who knows how long because we are chronically short staffed, they will get annoyed, yell at the few of us who are trying our best to do everything but are physically not capable to, make the rest of the customers extra nervous, and then leave to never return. Some will even give up their intended purchase.

Get the picture yet? Keep cutting our staff and hours, you can only go downhill. It's like you are trying to sink JCPenny. You make it impossible to sell stuff and then have layoffs and store closings to cut costs because profits are not what you expected. Jeez, I wonder why...

Recently went into the Woodbridge,NJ JCPenney store. It was equivalent to a last minute refugee dumpster fire sale. I had to battle Indians who were throwing items all over the floor & not a single worker was to be found. I didn't realize that I lived in a third world sh--hole, but this sure let me know in advance. I couldn't even find a single pair of shorts, because I had to swim through the clothing & twist my ankle on hangers that were scattered on the ground. The clearance racks looked like Helen Keller organized them on a drunkin rage. Put people on the floor and get rid of the total f---ing slobs who ruin others shopping experiences.

PS: I feel bad for the skinny tall older man who works there and smiles at everyone. I feel so bad for him because I know he loves his job.

Another Titanic realtor going down. I at least thought marvin could save it. What does he care with 14 million dollar salary. His motto get in make money and get out.

Dear Peon,

The execs at JC Penney are amused by your assumption we don't know this. We are also amused at your assumption that we want JC Penney to be in business for the long term. If we wanted that, why would we be doing what we are doing?

No, we are gutting and looting this ship before its destined trip to the bottom of the ocean.

It is not us who are ignorant, it is you. We care nothing for your morale, job satisfaction, or JC Penney's "future." We care about taking the last remaining millions and sailing off into the sunset.

This would be obvious to anyone with a brain, but alas, you spend your nights watching American Idol and Home Reno shows so it is not obvious to you. I fear we could spell it out like I just have and you STILL wouldn't understand.

Go back to your floor display and arrange something peon. You've waded into waters far too deep for your intellect and talents.
