The writing is on the wall for DXC (or is it on the toilet door?).
@Qapaqpo-4vea: Thats simply not the case. The pronunciation of words is different in different states of the USA. Very few service desk / customer service reps. jobs are sent to India. By default it goes to the Philippines in DXC.
Several key quotes in the comments of the Register story:
-
Then there is a brain drain of quality employees rushing to get out of the sinking ship.
-
A government department out sources 1000 people to DXC with an expectation that they will continue to receive the same or better services. DXC promptly retrenches 60% of them and gets foreigners in India to answer phones in an un-intelligble dialect, who are totally useless and have no idea.
DXC should close all of its centers in the UK with the Brexit problems going on. Its not worth it.
i told you so as what i have mentioned earlier. coming this december, dxc is dead! hahaha!
all going according to plan...
True story - When Mike L. joined CSC, he came to London to meet senior UK leaders.
Not long after the presentation started about how well CSC UK was doing, Mike raised a hand and said "Stop, Just answer me this - why I shouldn't close CSC UK?"
