If this site is a reflection of conditions inside Seagate, why shouldn't it be taken seriously? Time and again the rumors posted here have been accurate.

There are simply too many negative rumors. Although it isn’t make obvious, MNC this scale must have some long term strategy. Those holding on might eventually benefit once the storm is calm.
I recommend people don’t pay attention to trolls that post random layoff numbers.
If you can’t figure out a way to make a post beleivable and anonymous then don’t bother. too many of the same jokes on mgmt and same wild layoff claims. weather forecasters are more accurate.
nervous people read this site. try to keep it civil and realistic. Everyone is on this website because many peoples livlihoods depend on the job seagate provides...for better or worse.

I always joked my retirement plan was to work at a hardware store at near minimum wage. I think I am on my way to achieving that plan without leaving Seagate.
Seagate is on it's way to zero operating cost. A first for any company.
Let's do our best to help it get there by finding new jobs or working for free. It's about loyalty.
I heard rif was 40k people. All employees fired when STX burns to the ground, only directors and above left. A tech company with no IT. Oxymoron or just a moron named Ravi making the decision?
