I'm hearing more RIFs on the way after the new year starts. Hearing pretty bad...anyone have any info on this? I've heard the functions will be hit pretty badly followed by the SBUs....

The rumors are true!! I want to personally 5hank everyone in the company who worked extra hard to push for those late shipments, you are all extraordinary. Now that we are in 2018 though, I need to make another round of cuts in order 5o keep this Ponzi scheme alive. I will expect those who are left to pick up the slack left by those who are being terminated. I want 2018 to be my best year of earnings and bonuses yet! I know you all can do it. Let's all work together to ensure I have a VERY prosperous 2018.

I was in his position waiting to get an option from legal regarding the WFH debacle. I have to say after 3 months of being told we’ll get a waiver to another 3 months waiting on legal for a decision, it was worth the 6 mos. pay and medical to wait and wonder. I was being asked to drive 2.0+ hours each way to get to a honeywell location and that’s after I had all the sign offs from leadership snd GR.
I’d say depending on age and financials, edit it out. I’m now retired doing very well after 37 years. Good luck!

Why haven't you left on your own if you are that unhappy? When I was unhappy at Honeywell, I found another job. Why stay at Honeywell waiting on a RIF? Is your happiness worth so little that you will stay in misery hoping for a few weeks of pay?
The happy ending will be the package you get. No cash...just a handy from the 3rd world HR rep.
Happy endings are only available to legacy AiResearch employees. Everybody else gets a swift kick in the posterior on the way out.
I hope I get a exit interview with a happy ending when they RIF me. It'll be the only happiness I've had working at Honeyhell.
