I used to work on a rig up there and heard from a buddy there was another blowout up there this past week. Anyone have news and how big it was?

Not one blowout....it was two. We had a wellhead issue on another well and spewed oil on that one too. So two....two well control issues in one.....one Xmas break.....much fun.
Some amazing folks working very hard up there. Keep warm and safe.
It's - 30°C up here right now and headed lower. Not thinking much about anything other than trying to stay warm and keeping everything running!
There’s no drilling currently happening - is this completions related or a well head failure? Haven’t heard anything!
That is 2 blow out in less than 1 year. How will this one be covered up
