Draw Pay

Hot diggity dog!!! Should have listened when I was advised not to do straight commission sales. The truth is that I have been in draw pay virtually all the 4 months I’ve been employed. Is this something to be concerned about? I get paid around 500 dollars each pay period. I can’t be canned for lack of sales?

And the managers let you get away with this???? More power to you then!

@2psv - "Have you not had any coaching?" This would be a prime example of, "Either coach them up or coach them out." After nearly four months on draw, I'd guess that the latter is the manager's intention.

They can axe you any time for any reason (at will employment.) Which they most likely will if you are performing that poorly in sales. Have you not had any coaching?

You should be ashamed and embarrassed. How did you not make $500 a week in commissions??? Sales is not for you - I’m sorry to have to tell you that on xmas, but really take back and reflect for New Years, figure out what you want to do and go do it.

You’re not a salesman

Well not really. Just know that if you happen to get a good sale it'll be worthless to you because they're gonna take their money back.
