Sorry to say I am hearing layoff package is being reworked and in future it might not be the same as last year.

I beg to disagree. If you are in your mid life, this is the best coy u can find to work in & retire, especially if you get the layoff remuneration at the end of it.
Xyratex people dont need to troll here....they all moved onto newer and better things from what the ones i still communicate with say.
They do all laugh at the Dot Hill crew in charge...the ones whose attitude was...were a storage business too ...we can run their portfolio too...we dont need their help...were better than them etc etc
Only to fail from the getgo....and still do today....
Thats some funny Sh@t Luczo and Mosley signed up to it as well
F**k Seagate.

Bangalore moving to Pune, so no good for those guys either.
Xyratex trolls or Seagate trolls? The latter, I suspect. Dot Hill was never more than a minor player in the storage industry. Seagate should have known better than to expect them to punch far above their weight. They are not very tolerant of underperforming groups, so the endpoint for DH is pretty obvious.
Nobody give a sh-- t e about Dog Hill.
Xyratex trolls on here again.
If DH is profitable, STX should keep it. Too bad STX can not spin off or sell it to other companies. DH customers are also screwed.
DH is going down, less profitable than expected. Likely shut down in 2018.
