Thread regarding Ford Motor Co. layoffs

It's going to get ugly

Car sales collapsing across the board and even truck sales losing their mojo. What did you expect after 6 years of "sub prime lending" to people who make less per year than their car is worth?

Defaults are going through the roof right now and for the first time in ages I hear of people being laid off from car dealerships.

Buyouts now, layoffs tomorrow.

This is what I can't believe everybody is ignoring. It's like we are trying to emulate the housing market before the bubble burst. It's only a matter of time before it all hits the fan, and majority of us in Ford are out of work.

That's why the bankers blow bubbles OP. They know people will fall for it every time, because all that 99% of people care about is their own paycheck, so they don't ask questions such as "Why are we selling a 60K SUV to a McDonald's employee?"

Then when it hits the fan, everyone is SHOCKED.

Humans are not intelligent, they are dumb.
