Dumbest thing ever. We can't have lunch, our insurance is horrible, can't use our good vendors so I'm using the cheap unsafe ones, many of us will have our pay cut, stock is being dumped soon...but the idiot next to me who does nothing but read this stuff got 90%? Stupid. Just more stupid.

And maybe you should wear "brown".
Maybe u all should band together and wear black the day of the townhall (a la Grammy's style) in solidarity.
Hear about Chesapeake Energy today?
I’ve never posted here but this discussion has made me do it. I did some checking on this stuff and the people I spoke with say this is true.
I can’t believe it. How are they going to sell this as a positive for most of us employees?
It seems job ads for the industry are increasing so at least we have more options than a year ago.
When you think things surely can’t get more weird around here...they find a way to take it to the next level. I’m going to have to start the job search back up...I gave them credit for caring and that it would level out and be a good place to grow a career. Obviously my optimism has been misplaced and I feel like a fool for believing it could be all that I had hoped.
In the meantime don’t forget to waste time u don’t have writing a b.s. self review.
Safe to say the favorites for raises will be the same for individual bonuses.
By over 3%, u mean like 4-5%?
Those Friday offs will come in handy for interviewing...until that gets taken away too :(
Hate to throw fuel on the fire BUT lots of people got over 3%! Lots. Just like over the last three years many people got promoted and got raises when “we” all were told it wasn’t happening. Trust your intuition this all stinks.
I have to say, if this is true and LTI is gone and not replaced by more base I’m going.
Give us a 3% raise and take away 45% of Total
Compensation!?!?
This is what happens when your HR is all accountants. The lack of communication is all their fault, and inexperienced management.
Definitely will be a mass exodus if base pay isn't adjusted to offset. Most people leaving recently are getting promotions and more money, but we're going to lower it now that oil prices have improved. Makes total sense. I agree with the individual who mentioned a lack of transparency and communication lately. Some of us are still learning of all the promotions in our department a month after they took effect.
It is much much more for managers senior engineers etc. I fully expect our leaders to take it all away and give it to themselves. Just go look at their base salaries, the ones reported on yahoo, they are quadruple what we were paying just a few years ago! All the while cuts have been made to the “grunts” and good people losing jobs. Get out if you can, they don’t care about you. Say it again and again
I'd have to guess most are more than 20%, but it all depends on whether you started under the new tier structure or old.
LTi/bonuses are 20% of my annual earnings. Is that similair for anyome else?
Managers and above, sorry grunts.
Whomever says reduced is incorrect. Only a few will keep LTI is what I’ve heard from several sources.
Hopefully they won't wait to long to disclose what they are going to do with LTI. For most of us, after understanding and giving a nod to the previous elimination in perks as necessary to cut costs and survive, will hesitate when the market is improving, to see the money in our pockets being cut. It wouldn't be a perk being cut but something that most of us count on when tallying our income. That being said, if there is a huge change in LTI, one would hope that it is fully explained, temporary, and the pain is shared.
Reduced not being taken away. Most likely about where last years was reduced to.
LTIs are being taken away from most employees is the current rumor. Of course “top” management and VPs will keep their incentives. You can get ready for mass exodus when the LTIs are gone. Our leaders love to take from the poor and give to themselves.
Heck yea! To think I would stay for just my base pay would be a joke
Thanks for the info. Many companies are hiring now. Guess lots of people will leave if the LTI is wiped out.
Probably the meeting on Feb. 6. I believe the higher ups were told this week.
Any news on LTI yet?
Agreed, the LTI is a significant part of my compensation and if material changes are coming I need to know ASAP! My family and I rely on this income.
Good or bad, maybe they just want an overall picture of where their comp stands. Impacts everything from whether people start interviewing elsewhere to family budget/income taxes.
We are still 6 months away from the grant, and a year and a half away from the first vesting. Why be so pessimistic when it is still so far off?
When are they going to announce the new format for LTI/bonus? Are they going to wait until the week before the grant in July, then tell us it’s gone? Seems a bit ridiculous that managers have no info on timing.
Raises and bonuses on top of the fact you have medical insurance and a job with stock rising. What a travesty! I have friends unemployed over 18 months now. Past COBRA. Get real. Most of us are damn happy.
It is funny to see people complaining about getting bonuses and raises. "The bonus is too high, and I have to buy my own lunch, and my insurance is bad and now they want to give me a raise but the guy next to me got the same raise". No matter what the company does, good or bad, there will always be those who like to whine and complain.
Not in mine, most didn’t even get 3%. I bet they saved it all for themselves.
What about LTI? My manager has no information.
And I'm guessing they probably got the same raise % as you...at least the ones in my area did.
lol.....management degree.....smh
So many VP's have come in to this company as friends and family. Are they even qualified? Do they have Management degree? They can't treat people fairly, can't do their job, need "yes man" around them. How would this company perform? Bring Gareth back, fire ruthlessly these unqualified VP's and their "yes man", hire well qualified upper management and then you will see light in the tunnel.
DNR, a case study on mismanagement. This is how companies die.
Bet all the new VPs will be able keep things going.
You the same person who said they were leaving a few months ago? Since you haven't done it yet, don't pretend to speak for others.
Leave before the 10th or it’s just sh-- talking
Execs are hoping you have a long-term memory when the LTI is wiped out next year.
