Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Thoughts on Shipt deal?

Anybody thinks this Shipt deal will be a catalyst for more layoffs?

The deal focuses on online ordering, which means that fewer people will be coming to the store thanks to this. Which, of course, will give those at the top some ideas. After all, you don't need that many folks to pack some stuff.

I could be wrong, but something tells me this will not end well for us.

Someone who is usually highly critical of TGT on here: This move caught me unexpected, TGT doesnt seem to be in strategic mode as of late, more of survival mode. Maybe its a sign something has finally changed.

I'm curious to see if TGT will maximize this opportunity or they will squander it per their track record. Time will tell.

Considering my wife can't walk into a Target store and find grocery product on the shelf, I can't imagine that someone using Shipt is going to be any happier. Can't deliver same day on something that doesn't exist. 550M in the toilet.

Uncle.....you have no insight, are two years plus removed, hate target readership. Your s—‘t is really old now buddy. You’ve probably posted 80% of the topics here over the last year. Give it a rest!
