Here is my two cents on the executives and the overall state of the business. I think that Larry simply has not clue about retail. This will hurt retail in the long run, he does not get it. Helena and her extra-care program was fine but it is slowing down... Seasonal is just not serious and the Green Label is a flop of epic proportions. Oh my, what a mix do we have on our hands.

Larry knows what he is doing, and he’s doing just that. He doesn’t give a crap about us on the bottom. The Executives are there to make themselves and their investors rich, not us. People need to wake up and realize that if you work for a large company you are made to feel important only to keep morale high enough to generate income for the company, outside of that, you mean nothing. Payroll is the only thing a company has absolute control over, think about it. You can’t make people shop in you store, and you can’t make them spend large amounts. What you can do, is cut your payroll down and increase you profits. The less checks you are writing, the more money you have in your pockets plain and simple. Companies also like to see what your limits are. If you can run your store just enough on minimal hours with generating any major problems, then they are going to see if you are capable of doing it with less and less until they find that thin line where it is just absolutely undo able. I don’t mean to sound like an a--hole or condescending, but it’s the facts and it’s taken me 13 years in retail to understand that. I wish everyone on here the best, and my advice is get out while you can.

All of these tag lines/strategies speak to the core of who we are as professionals and display why we bring our best everyday. When you are treated less then human and tossed to the side you have to take the positives you have learned and forget the negative. I will continue move forward and I want each of you to do the same. I will start a go fund me page for an independent pharmacy and we will take the heart of our purpose and turn it into our mission.
