No one or no company is a threat to Intel. Do you not know that INTC is invincible and great, and this will never change.
@ydy - Statistically speaking, it would be easier to guess which Server companies will choose to use EPYC vs. calling the lottery numbers. The reality will be 'ALL' of them. No respected HW guy selling into a server farm is going to pass up the core/IO/TDP combo that EPYC offers in a 1S solution. The power savings alone make $$$ sense.
