"Wired" jobs means having a candidate for a job that will be hired before the job posting is public on the internal Nokia job posting site.
Why are so many candidates being interviewed for a job even if the job is wired? This is an Unfair Practice and should be stopped. Nokia USA HR, please wake up - why do you let managers/directors/executives get away with this.
I wrote about two pages to give Nokia USA HR examples of "wired" jobs of people who got hired from Wireless to Optical and AA department, only to delete it thinking what difference is any of this going to make. After all I'm going to get laid off soon. And Nokia will continue practicing the same old policies that it's been for years -- all those mandatory ethics training doesn't mean a thing after all. I'm tired of this company. I'm frustrated. There isn't any good work like there use to be. Customers aren't happy. Losing market share to other networking tech companies. Good talented people leaving the company. No salary increase. Moral is the lowest it's ever been.
