When I started working at Barnes and Noble I signed on as a bookseller... Nobody told me that the job would include taking care of other people's children left unsupervised in the store's children's department (seriously people, we are not daycare!) nor having to go through regular cases of s-xual harassment courtesy of erotica section...
I understand this is not the company's fault, but stuff like this should not be considered part of the job, as I was informed. Especially when the pay is as low as it is.
If you are going to be putting people through stuff like that without finding an adequate solution for it, then at least compensate us properly for it.
