(fired or disputing appraisal, fired for asking proejct change, fired for competing for promotion, fired for being source of insuecurity to manager and the list goes.......on on - notbly skills or cability or perormance doesnt matter.....

chennai office seems to be full of techies in operations drawing 20-35 lakh CTC doing paper work and resource tracking, most of them active in doing side business (real estate, stores, day care center, multi level marketing and using the company as networking and personal business development tool)
HR has additional side business - making money out of recruitment with partnership of consultancies HR of company A does hiring or company B and vice versa and both sharing the booty.
