So the other day my co-workers and I were talking and it dawned on me that I never received reimbursement for my first month of COBRA as promised by this sh of a company (SO generous of them to offer).
So I logged into the benefits website and started a chat. They were very polite and said it could take up to 90 days to receive reimbursement and it should be automatic. I said it's been almost 4 months. So she took a awhile but said yes indeed it's been that long and opened up a case, would get back to me in a couple days, blah blah. Low and behold, yesterday Oct 31 I had some odd direct deposit amounts from HP Enterprise (beyond weird they are still using that name for DDs) and it equaled the first month of COBRA for me, which is all I was on it anyways.
This is just a reminder to not rely on this shady company to make you whole automatically on what they promise you, so make sure to follow up and get what you are owed! I bet they just depend on most people forgetting about it.
