Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

I would definitely advise not to add any major financial burdens like new homes and big vacations!

The outlook for those remaining is bleak! Everyone is talking about the dismantling of HAH in early 2018 Take it from me, you don't want to be stuck with a new 30 year mortgage and have your job taken away. For those with debt, pay it down now and bank everything you can! I can tell you I was not prepared enough after being laid off this year! I had just purchased a new car and new home. Hubby and I were planning a trip to Europe this fall. I am still not employed even with my master's degree and great referrences.

Not me! I'm maxxing out all of my credit cards on a 40,000 spending spree. If I am going down, I'm going down with dignity. When the going gets tough... the tough go SHOPPING! Wheee!
