Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

No More Big Engagements

DXC doesn't want accounts like P&G and Shell anymore. Today, we are moving to a one-size-fits-all cloud-based offering with 90%+ ultra cheap offshore labor and maximized automation.

Custom software and IT services are viewed as antiquated and too expensive from a labor perspective...

Welcome to the future.

In MOST CUSTOMERS , the customer received pathetic support from India , Malaysia and Lithuania resources.

Yes they are cheaper to at 1st pay, but there work needs to be done twice, three times or more to get it right.

I hope DXC crashes and burn's

the grave mistake mikey and his management team did were to cut off all the important talents, suppliers, vendors and also customers. He's basically leveling everything down for the 1 billion reduction. as it's already done, there's no way he can turn that back and just made more competitors and enemies not mentioning disgruntled employees. dxc is doomed with no viable option to revive it. sonner or later, those investors will dump the stocks and dxc will dwindle down to a halt. dxc should be named hiroshima instead.

Automatization is OK, but the issue @DXC is that the overview is missing ,,, I see that on my clients - the automatic solutions are figthing between them, and my customers have unsolved issuess due to this....

Not doing customized solutions is the way to make more, because it's repeatable. Look at the auto industry for example or SAP , SAP makes you change your business process to there software and it was been working wonderful for a decade or more.

Customized solutions are Gone and should be!

Trust me - they will want to keep these accounts while the margin they make is good. The only time they will ditch them is when the contract renewals come up and the customers ask for prices that dont make it possible for them to deliver and make any profit

At least in case of Shell, the customer received pathetic support from Malaysia center, such that they moved support in-house. Too much frustration from the excuses and lack of responsibility.
