In West Alabama ATT is "beaming" consumer internet from cell towers. Another method to bypass the aging copper plant.
Also heard the fiber network is in another company name which would allow them to sell off the copper 5E network to a Windstream / Frontier type company.
Let's stop glossing over the issue, Windstream is going to tank, very soon....
Tony, and his cronies will do well, good luck the the rest....
"Fixed wireless and fiber to the tower are different products altogether. Fixed wireless = Business only broadband, another one of Windstream's acquisitions.
Technically, the REIT owns all the fiber assets, copper assets, and buildings. So in that sense, we don't own any fiber to the tower at all. Or are you discussing something completely different?"
it is all tied together, and the REIT owns it all, and is having issues....
