Well..in this case she is lucky that she still has a job (not a real job). She should be out on the street or go back to Telus.
Actually, white males are at the top of the class system. Just ask the girl who was given the “job” of heading up the RDO. Ask her again in a couple of years when she still doesn’t have a real job.
I didn't see any union employees packaged out last October...
The class system is thus:
1st Canadian Employees
2nd US Employees
3rd Union Employees
4th Contractors

CDN Enbidge employees kept thier SDO's. Only those lowly US guys had to give up thiers.

Where did it say CDN ENB Legacy employees lost SDO time? The comparison chart showed 12 days, same as before. Spectra employees (West) lost 4 days, as far as the communication chart showed.
Just got the bomb dropped this week for Legacy Enbridge, lost 64 hours of SDO time and insurance is going up and out of pocket expenses are going up but they raised pension 1% like thats gonna matter when we all lost time and $$$, they were smart about it they took away PTO last year to increase SDO time then took away the SDO time thinking we would not be upset, no one is happy and now waiting for the next round of cuts. Sure do miss PD as he actually cared about the actual employee.
You have over a year to adjust, whereas some have three months to adjust to less takehome pay.
I guess "work/life balance" really isn't a priority anymore.....make sure to take of yourself people. We obviously don't work for a company that has consideration for the employees that make the profits possible.
I say, turn off the cell phone when you filed your SDO. your boss or your colleague should be able to cover for that. or wait for you to get back to work the following business day. they don't allow you to take 2 consecutive SDOs, right?
do yourself a favor.. when you want a day off take it. we all have cell phones. we can be mobile.
US employees lost week of vacation last year but told that got extra 8 sdo. Now is taking the 8 sdo's away in US that just gave this year but not getting any vacation back. Canadians, must be nice to keep your sdo days.
We are losing ,05 percent multiplier of pension and still having to contribute 5 percent. Yay......not....
