Just started with big blue and whew! The training is awesome, I work with people from all over the world and the promise of international travel is truly inspiring. What other industry and company can give you such great opportunities? Oh, yes, I nearly forgot......they also pay me to do all this!

Another brain washed new hire. Lay off the experienced ones and replace with newbies.
What a friggin' sukk-up
When you reach 50 in SLB with a career in management you will be a very wealthy individual and can take early retirement. Buy that villa in one of the warm countries that you have worked in, kick back and enjoy the time off because it won’t be long before you have every service company offering you a new and even bigger position.
Plan to retire at 50. That's when they'll be done with you. Just sayin.
This is so great because you haven't seen other executives,
And if it is so great why do they leave after few years?
The fact is if you are expecting and enterprise or someone else promote you, then you are a looser naturally!
Just enjoy having job and paycheck, never fall in love with someone else's business.
And lay you off!
Some of the best and highly paid managers in the oil and gas industry working across a wide range of companies started their careers in Schlumberger. No doubt we produce the best people in the industry and your career is assured. Enjoy it and be happy big blue chose you!
We never been IM but we have managed travel to many places and countries and having lots of fun, infact you don't need to be slb employee to be able to live comfortably.
Infact business travels are very common in every industry, including international assignments.
Btw,
I think you should get back to work instead of wasting share holders and investors money.
Lol, you sound super excited. You probably didn't have any other job offers if you just started with SLB. Talk to us in a year, if you make it and still love the company. Right now they are trying to brainwash, you see everything through blue colored glasses. They are only showing you the nice things. From my OFS 1 class, out of 12 people, only 5 still work there, I was the last one to quit. Good luck...the experience will open doors for you.
