I know one Nassau shop uses bblll ' s to close. At least they have someone in shop. My shop you get an email and a mess saying if you need me ill be home to help support
They should start putting some management on weekends too.

Oh Okay, so must be hitting Jersey later than you guys. We still have Tues-Sat and Sun-Thurs but our 10hr guys are all on different shifts. I know it'll be a sh-- show when it hits
Already that way in new york. 3 shifts now. Tues to sat, sun to thurs, fri,sat,sun,mon. Only 4 day shift.
I know they are in the beginning process of changing 10 hour shifts. If you work a 10 hour shift, you will be forced to work both days on the weekend. From what I heard, you can pick the other two days but you WILL work Saturday and Sunday
They will screw you in NJ too.. It just hasnt happened yet. Either they will mess with you shift.. or cut your pay. I drank the Kool aid too for my first 2 years or so.. then I saw them for the S-bags they are.. and this was BEFORE Dolan sold.. The new guys are worse.. make Dolan look wonderful.

I'm ATS and doing splicing (along with several other guys). Some of us were chosen to do splicing and some are pulling fiber. Been at it for 4 months and loving it. I Know some dudes aren't content right now but those of us chosen for construction, couldn't be happier. I'm glad I made the switch to ATS and I didn't take the pay cut so I don't get the quarterly bonus but I kept my same pay. This is in NJ tho, can't speak for NYC.
