Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

How it went down last time

When I was affected, they sent a meeting notice for a required meeting in a conference room the next morning.

There were 6 - 7 other people there at the same time.

Some exec read the script and an HR person was there as witness, I guess, and to facilitate paperwork.

At another site I worked closely with, two meeting notices went out: Room A was OK, while Room B was bye-bye!

I find this to be a good post, not mine - re-posting from Post ID: @Pye3lB2-ics

I remember when everyone was looking at me when I was pushing the cart of pulled apart computers to bring back to the Help Desk. Every building my team and I went to, no one wanted to make eye contact with us. I hated it.

Yep - and the number of people who missed the "not" in that stupid email. Perfect way to do things :-)

Last time we all sat at our desks pretending to work, then an email popped late morning up saying your job was at risk or not at risk. Same email, same title, same sender. Just the word “not” in bold added to those who were staying. This was UK.
