Has the management gone insane?? What the hell are you guys thinking? Why are you taking your time with layoffs? How do you expect people to concentrate on their jobs and be productive while we are left to wonder when it is our turn for the next round. Stop this madness and cut who you are going to cut immediately. This is insane! Dell is torturing its employees. I think most of the workforce is psychologically drained and miserable.

A mass layoff brings media and gov attention. One reason. Another is they are still trying to figure out where they can make more cuts. Its a pretty big company spread out long and wide.
things are changing. there will be no job security. can't take it? then leave. no one is stopping you. get used to management saying no to everything and having no clarity for a long long time. self service. management is outdated, slowly they won't even exist if we do evolve.
I find the whole situation quite surreal. MD wants us to #GoBig while undergoing perpetual staff and capital cuts. Most in my building expect to be laid off within 12 months. The market for anything on-prem seems to be shrinking so it's not like business will ever improve. It's a zombie culture.
