I was let go in 2016. Spent only 2 years with GE.

I've seen this page grow from a couple of us posting randomly every other week to a thriving forum where folks share info.

I'd like to start letting people (on social media - twitter/instagram/fb) about this community - I wanted to see what geographic regions/cities I should focus on (e.g., on twitter i can hashtag a city and role - for example Lynn, MA for Finance Management - it's likely we'll get some folks pay attention).

So, what cities, groups/teams/business units and or positions should I pay attention to.

I have some knowledge as it relates to Finance work in Lynn but other than that I am just guessing.

@4aio - yep, I am the OP and I am on a mission now...

So this is how you spend your time now?

GRC (Global Research) is also in the Schenectady/Albany NY area and has people reading and posting here.

For IT, it’s every location except Providence, Richmond, Miami, NOLA and San Ramon. Europe is a different ball game because of Work Councils so just target Cinci, the AMSTC, etc.

Schenectady/Albany NY, Greenville SC, are the biggest centers in GE Power if that is the business you are focusing on.

just hashtag GE dude, it isn't that hard. we (oops after 16 years its habit) THEY are in 170 countries... nobody used to care about where you were, at least in IT. that's the new regime thing
