From what I have managed to gather from some whispers and posts here, the most likely date for the next round of layoffs at CVS is October 4. Not really sure how credible the information is, but it has been repeated enough times in several places that I am starting to take it seriously. Anybody knows more?

Wow. Well said!! I know a few RLPMs that could use some common sense!
APM role was an embarrassing fail. Senior MIs were pinned down and forced to make MIs feel like we still had a job for 15 weeks. You all should be ashamed at corporate. Anyone who took part in that looked like more of a dumb--s than usual. To all you RLPMs reading this, you don’t know the FIRST THING about your business. The way you treat store managers and the way you lead the people beneath you is abhorrent. It’s a bogus company with an even more bogus LP department. How embarrassing it must be to still be working for CVS LP!
I can say this!! At least now we don't have to hear our know it all of a ACTING senior talk B.S any more. I guess all that kissing butt paid off at the end for you too.
to Mr,Jezz below,,I know who you are and im sure your boss is going to love to see your message....now get back to your milking the company from your house while your saying your at work and abusing your mileage and food privileges...on the company's expense.. and how would you know about incident reports being done wrong unless you are the one that's doing them wrong.
don't be so sure your safe, your not..
Jeez, they probably made the decision to cut you guys when they logged on here at The Layoff and read these comments. I can only imagine the fine incident reports you submitted.
Where did you morons learn to write?
(PS: 5 lawyers spell checked this message)
CVS claims they Didn't have the money to keep us but you can keep them.. i smell a rat, do I have a feeling t828hat they had something to do with us being gone so they can save their selfs... WHO made this decision. ...?
Seriously get rid of the RLPMs,,, I mean one of them make more than 5 LPs put together,, why are they keeping them they don't even do anything for the store🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫
lol, and they don't even realize that when they're doing their audits the worst the audit looks in the store the more CVS is looking at ways of saving that money and they would be first on the chopping block
I also heard that the RLPMS are going to be out soon from a good source ,there going to assign an outside party at the end of the day CVS only cares about money....
I heAR the RLPMS are next.....
I've checked with 5 lawyers and they all say this is not legal...we never signed anything stating that we could be fired for another person's actions, especially in a different state...
I'm not happy about the events that led to the end of the MI program, but, CVS went over and above to be fair to the people who were laid off.
I dont have a issue with this personally. Of u did not see this coming over a year ago, then u dont pay much attention. Everyone had ample time to find another job. I was there 6 years and got a more then fair severance. Ill take 3 months off and go back as a ops manager, making more then a MI. But seriously guys, did u really think u were keeping your jobs after July? Theyve done this twice now,in 4 months they will have some type of lp again. Also LP is a dying job nowadays,so best to move on.
Thank you CVS You're such good hearted people,,, now my daughter can't get her cancer treatments because I can't afford to pay for her ,, but I really appreciate that . .thank you so much I'm so glad you got to save another dollar,, now you can get your store managers to make the shoplifting apprehension that'll work out real good then you're really going to have a lawsuit on your hands win. gets handled wrong
is this in RI ? any news from RI
Do we have to pay back vacation time we owe?
They have a completely separate job now doing basically auditing. They're useless for external theft issues. I just can't believe they used RLPMs to lay people off when they made such a big deal about not allowing RLPMs to do anything with the Market Investigators. Definitely fishy
Interesting how the are RLPMS get to keep their jobs and they're completely useless and they were making more money than all of the Market investigators.. I smell a Inside Job,, I think we should go to the media with this..and consult a lawyer...
Yep i got laid off at 8am today. 2weeks severance for each year u worked. Plus paid through 10/20 our final day. Not a bad deal i thought. Ill take a vacation till jan, then start all over in ops manager. No worries.
I heard it might be November 6th
They are paying us our full pay until December or January (bi-weekly). Unless you go store side. Then your severance stops. Keep your head up, guys!
What is the severance?
This is true! I got laid off at 9am. I was a Market Investigator.
On my way to the meeting to get laid off... I knew this was happening.
Ha Funny! Wait...why is that funny? sick bastard
Ha! Funny how they're having RLPMs do it and not the stupid APM role they had. And even funnier that the "Senior MIs" aren't doing it either. Cause they're getting canned too. Screw all of them.
Got a random call from my RLPM today. He said he needs to have a meeting with me tomorrow. No other info was given. Everyone in my area got the call. Guess we will see what happens...
Anyone know what the severance is yet?
Lol they were right calls have started going out good luck everyone
They say its the 4th.. So what happens tomorrow? a CC or calls individual ? and is it the whole program in every area?? Because I really hope a CC so I can say my peace to all the Butt s---ers and then regroup after.. its not the end of the world people. Trust they doing us all favors..
Definitely happening. And if you haven't been told by anyone around you then. You don't know the right people.
Lol the last guy was wrong on the date so I don't believe that it's happening
It’s Definitely happening. It’s not a rumor unfortunately. it’s happening this week. Not trying to scare anyone. I’m posting to let everyone know to look for another job ASAP so you are not caught off guard.
No because that only pertains to a certain amount of employees in the SAME state. I believe you have to have over 50 employees in the same state to be required to give a warning. And even if they did they'd find a loophole.
Is this still gunna happen? If it does any possibility of us bringing a lawsuit against them for no warning before it happened
Definitely happening. Just not sure on severance.
