They changed the name to 'Bionix' so they could avoid the bad press around this post and other posts, please can you change it
Bionics is the study of mechanical systems that function like living organisms or parts of living organisms.
With large amount of managers only trying to pursue the staff to work harder for meager salary will not help. DXC is now a hire and fire company, must double the salary as there is no job guarantee.
PspBr9Q-xds - Awesome post!
@op VK is that you?
just no. you get better experience playing with Legos
And the filthiest c--ts sorry managers work in that team. Bunch of bastards who will do anything to keep their own jobs safe.
I no longer work for the company and what I’m writing is facts and honesty.
Bionics is an automation programme in the Operational Excellence environment but not exclusive to.
Bear in mind it’s an overhead team meaning there is a limited budget. And when the cuts come they target those types of teams first.
There is also no budget in that team, meaning they expect to leverage tools from HPE ES and try to sticky tape sh-- to push out to the CSC side. To date they have not rolled out anything and it’s been nearly 7-8 months since they formed the Bionics programme.
Is it worth going there, if your unemployed then yes, if you have a job and are expecting space age stuff stay the f--- away. Even the Indians are getting laid off and that is making a huge statement of intent. They have no ambition, no vision, no money and it’s all bull sh-- to spout to the markets.
The best they’ll manage is a spreadsheet with all the tools in DXC by the end of FY18.
You heard it here first!
Bionics is probably a concept in the manufacturing field. DXC is consultancy on Info Technology.
The management is trying to use automation tools to fix incidents being generated and the smart employees are only increasing the incidents to keep the managements heads spinning.
End of day, DXC costs are higher due to several such programs, e.g. Automation SQAD, Bionics as compared to IBM, Capgemini, etc
The only issue is that DXC got a whole lot of managers (people managers) who just hell bent on creating work to show that they are busy.
To the Original Poster, dont join Bionics team as there is no future there outside DXC.
Do not feed the trolls.
Depends if you're in sales ("yeah sure we can automate that") or a techie ("how the hell do we automate this?? Who told them we could do it??")
Mike Laurie astronut. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Mike Laurie will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, richer. The thirty two million dollar man.
It is all marketing fluff - look it up on the website - you cannot figure it out as there is no substance there...Bionics, wow.
Find someone on LI and ask them - preferably someone who has taken off already, they are more likely to tell you how it is
its basically a new term coined (aka automation) to have more layoffs
its filled with the curses of the employees
Been here since Carter was US President. Newer heard of 'bionic' division.
