Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Subletting my company house for profit.

I have a chance to do this and make extra money while on IM service to make up for recent salary cuts. I have heard many IMs are doing it but I haven't spoken to anyone. It's not a huge amount but it all counts. Does anybody know if this is ok to do ? I didn't see anything in IM rules saying I could not do it.

It's a brilliant business idea. You should take as much as you can while you can from this company.

It's about $650 a month here in US. Most with degree get this perk. But like they said...you may be required to move at anytime. Most make sure they move at least every 3 year's to keep this perk going. Only using the system SLB put in place.

This is very common among young IMs assigned to major cities but beware SLB can move you in a heartbeat and you never know when so dont get caught renting out the property when you have to move. This just happened to a young Russian engineer in Jakarta and he was released from the company.

If you can make a profit subletting then your allowance is to high and you are costing the company too much. Best policy is tell HR and find a cheaper place before you get fired

Look your Quest Certificates. They've probably expired.
