I was WFR'd in 2015 under the premise that I retired. What bothered me most is that once I signed up for WFR, which was before the split I could not or would not be able to apply for a position with HPE. I spent 40 years of my life working for Digital>Compaq> and HP...I regret not taking the package offered by Mark Hurd's regime which was so much better than what Meg offered us. Was I compensated well ? In retrospect I was, not great but ok compared to what I am doing now. People who spent the majority of their career working for just HP were able to leave with the grandfathered pension plan which we never got that chance. I just feel ripped off.
