"“yields are continuing to improve pretty much right in line with [traditional] ramps rates,” said Krzanich. “It’s a new technology so there are always some problems to solve, but we’re pretty comfortable with where we are at now,” he added"
🤡 Totally happy, I hear TMG and LTD leaders all got O and double digit raise and stock level 1 for their great execution and three year lead!
Moore's law is anywhere, the learning period will follow moore's law exactly (Double every two years). it is 1 year in 2012, 2 years in 2014, and 8 years by 2018 when 10nm released.
You only need to look at the 14nm data and time line to see that 10nm is even worse and it being more difficult and much longer due to process complexity that leaning rate will be far slower and if the last two years are any indication the trend extends to the future. Draw the trend line and it tellls you, not some wet dream from LTD and TMG
Yield is in line with previous process ramps
Yield 100%, as always
What does Ashraf need any data for, if he doesn‘t understand the data? He probably thinks 10nm is the temperature at which/water freezes or something like that. The guy knows less about chip technology than I know about molecular biology, and my knowledge in the field of molecular biology is absolute zero.
