@PoiJFrf-1mzr Agreed so many factors that pushed Intel beyond the tipping point, all continue with the arrogance and dogmatic behavior at senior management and fellows level.

The very fact the TMG leaders still will say they are ahead and all is well is the most obvious symptom of the total FUBAR. The management is like alcoholics or other compulsive addicts. If you can't admit publicly you got a problem and than articulate a credible fix your behaviors is what I see in PTD, LTD, TMG and in the MCM and CEOs behavior, More ACTs are a certainty 😉

Your future is dependent on what division and project you work on, but as a whole the company looks somewhere between Nokia and Motorola about a decade ago. near to past the tipping point with clueless management 😉

Everyone buys the same equipment and Intel started on 10 with a three year lead, WTF happen that they now folded that three year lead, too much ppt?

This is worse than the Falcons collapse last year at the Super Bowl, absolute failure of execution the last three years to have slipped so much. What does it say about both leadership, use of resources and decisions made during the last three years? You'd think they'd at least know where to go after one year of bumbling and one year of working, looks like two plus years of bumbling, amazing the 🤡 let it go on for so long but then again. You got the 🤡

Everyone buys the same equipment.

It’s only a matter of focus and money which decides who get the best node.

TSMC always had focus.

Now they have tons of money.

Bye bye Intel!

these articles explain how much the company is screwed up; all announcements are only their wishful thinking cakes on powerpoint foils, and only bragging about their past glories... this company is dead horse now

This was a decent article.

By Intel's OWN slides, the following is true:

  • Intel's names process nodes are higher density than competitors

  • But, if you go by SHIPPING-TODAY-IN-VOLUME nodes, TSMC and Samsung 10nm are higher density than Intel 14nm

By any technical source out there, Intel is correct in its node-naming assertions. However, by any technical source out there, their 10nm problem and push-out well into 2018 will completely erase any lead they once had. This is where it will get interesting.

The LTD kings seem to be really trying in desperation to assert their past leadership as some right to future leadership. Along the way those in PTD forgot the mantra of "Just the Results" seems ppt foils and wishful projections are the only results as 10nm is now trending to two years slip, a full process node and two product cycles, Tick Tock Tock Tock

If intel is three years ahead they needed Canon 10nm two years ago to be ahead of TSMC and Samsung 7nm which is coming next year! 2018-2015 = 3 years. LTD did you forget your math?
