I've been considering leaving for over a year now, but this latest news of huge incoming layoffs has really kicked me in the behind to start looking for a new job. Thought this article was somewhat useful, if anybody else is considering the same thing.

I started looking about 3 months ago with the idea that I would be a bit pickier about what I would take. I got a fantastic offer yesterday and I am so, so relieved. As the previous poster said, it would have been best to have started this process months ago. I would prepare your resume, prep your interviewing skills, and apply to job postings now.
