Got word last night that 500 to be laid off tomorrow,. Directors at campuses have been notified. Layoffs include District Vice Presidents among others. Also campus closure announcements should be tomorrow. Word received is all but five locations to be phased out.

Closing down campuses is not a quick process. Notifications may be going out today on the locations but it will take time to move the students to a teach out location or to online.
To the downhill comment -- the organization was on the decline years before the financial consultants took over leadership roles. It is true that they may not have helped turn the organization around, but the reputation and changes in society were too much to overcome. Many of the problems were hidden and people were not allowed to talk about them especially situations where UOP was at risk of losing its state license. There were instances where people using hidden cameras highlighted ethical recruiting problems. The academic model was good, but the sales and operations practices did not meet UOP's own ethical codes.
UOP started going downhill when the investment bankers took over. Ironically they didn't know how to make money.

All upper mgmt has been doing is swinging their feet collecting a check. UOP lacks integrity in their programs as well as in their company. They are simply a diploma mill. How do u enroll people in college without verifying they have a high school diploma? How do u enroll people in college who cannot read? UOP is going to crash and burn. Their VP's are worthless and biased.
I am sure this is true, it has been right every single time.
