Ask yourself this question. If Honeywell is ranked near the bottom of its customer's satisfaction index, why then do they continue buy from Honeywell?

They're forced to. The aircraft was type certified with specific components and it's costly to redesign everything and recertify it. The day will come when OEMs just say, fck it. Boeing has already done this and is going to cut HON out of their aircraft at least for the avionics. That is easily half of the avionics market for ATR right there. Huge revenue hit. I'm glad I'm not in the Boeing CBT.
Anyway, lots of customers tell us they hate dealing with us and if there was any way they could avoid it, even paying more, they would.

Probably because it's very costly to switch suppliers and complicated.
