Thread regarding Carousel Industries layoffs

If you don't like it leave

I don't understand how everyone b--ches and complains about Carousel. I previously worked there nearly 10 years and had a great experience. Its pretty simple, if you don't like it there leave. No one is forcing you to work there. I noticed that all the people there that complain constantly are the lazy idiots that will never amount to a thing no matter where they work.

Everyone cries about the owners making a lot of money... HELLO, they OWN the place and they risked a lot starting the company so they deserve a lot of money. That is the american dream. Instead of being a jealous idiot why don't you come up with a great idea and start your own company!

First of all - I did leave. So don't bother with that. I came over from Source after the acquisition and left after I saw what a sh*t show it was turning into. Second of all, the owners are dishonest; it's not just the money. Of course they will make the most and deserve to, but they lie about the company's financial situation, about the number of layoffs, etc. Yes, it's tough to tell the truth about potential layoffs because you risk a mass exodus after an acquisition. But if you lie, guess what? People are going to complain on sites like this. Those are the breaks.

Also, I can tell you, maybe you worked in a department with good leadership - there definitely are some. But many, many are run by people who are borderline unstable and have very weird and incestuous (not literally but just in the sense that everyone knows everyone and they all sleep together) relationships at the top of the company. You said you worked there for 10 years; maybe things were great for that entire time. Companies change. But I can tell you right now, the company has a lot of problems, mostly around leadership. The engineers and service folks do a great job - leadership just s---s.
